The Union of Concerned Scientists Art Contest

Every year, The Union of Concerned Scientists makes a calendar based on scientific political cartoons that are submitted by people all across the United States. They choose their twelve favorite cartoons as finalists; each finalist receiving $500 and a spot in their calendar. Those cartoons are then given to the public to vote on to see who wins the “grande prize†of the front cover and another $500. I submitted the two cartoons below, one of which became a finalist.
